LawConnects.com is a privately owned company founded by experienced professionals in Internet technology, graphic design and the legal profession.

Our company's agency division provides cutting-edged Web and media services to a wide variety of businesses including Fortune 500 companies like Ford Motors and Adobe Systems. However, in recent years, we have been more focused on understanding the communication needs of small law firms and delivering to them powerful Website solutions. Our founders have been featured speakers on technology at California Bar Association educational conferences and have published articles on legal Websites in national and state Bar publications.

Since 2001, we have been focused on creating technology and support services to provide a sensible, professional and affordable Web site development alternative for the legal community.

Management Team

Steve Payne is the CEO and director of product development. By utilizing his extensive knowledge of database systems and Web presentation platforms, he has been able to spearhead efforts to build one of the most advanced Website offerings available. Steve I continually improving the Lawconnects offering and has lectured on Web related topics at California Bar CE conferences.

Before joining the lawconnects effort, Steve was a senior and lead programmer, at ZapME! Inc. where he help to build the largest world's largest PC based network.

Erik Chan,as president of bConnects, has acted as the design and business development director for the LawConnects effort. In addition to directing the graphic design effort, Erik completed extensive research on functionality requirements of effective legal Websites. He has written on Websites for the National and California Bar Assc. publications

Prior to founding bConnects, Erik was creative director of rStar Media, where he led innovative Web and multi media projects for companies like Kodak, Gatorade and the US Navy. Erik has spent over 10 years developing creative media solutions for companies including Microsoft, Oracle systems and EA Sports.
